Uncomplicate is the guiding principle that fuels our work. We firmly believe that in a world saturated with complexity and noise, the essence of simplicity and harmony is paramount in crafting brands that possess a truly distinctive flavor. 

After spending over 15 years working at some of the industry's most reputable agencies, Christian Loos, a Designer from Antwerp, founded kitchen in 2015. From its very inception, he prioritized maintaining a small-scale design studio, eliminating any obstacles that could hinder progress, such as unnecessary intermediaries, overhead, and cumbersome processes. This approach allows kitchen to remain agile and accessible to both its clients and team while maintaining a meticulous and personalized approach. We are always ready to scale up quickly for larger projects by tapping into our network of talented and dedicated professionals, whom we affectionately refer to as our 'chefs.'

The work before the work.

Before we start designing, we need to understand everything about our client and their brand: their current challenges, mission, competition, strategy, insights, analytics, and direction. Without this understanding, we risk simply designing for design’s sake. Only after we have embraced all the things that will not just make us a valuable partner but an invaluable asset, do we begin the actual design process.

We only have one client.

Every project demands our full attention and skill. We hone our ability to see clearly through the fog and smoke of the Kitchen and prioritize as necessary. Though we may have multiple projects cooking at any given time, each project receives our sole focus while we attend to it.

We taste as we go.

Our work is not finished until it’s on the table in front of our client. We continuously adjust, question and refine every aspect of our work until it meets our creative, strategic, and aesthetic needs, as well as those of our client.

Our goal is to spread happiness.
