Paying homage to the illustrious American author, Washington Irving, this establishment first opened its doors in 2014 within Manhattan’s enchanting Gramercy Park. A second location, situated in Midtown, boasts the distinction of being the city's highest open-air penthouse, offering a breathtaking setting for savoring exceptional craft cocktails. Both venues showcase menus meticulously curated by the esteemed and award-winning Mixologist, Meaghan Dorman.

As Dear Irving embarked on the venture of its second location, a strategic imperative was to establish distinct yet interconnected brand identities that paid homage to the original establishment. We carefully crafted a visual identity, introducing subtle differentiators in color palettes and patterns, while preserving the continuity with the original handcrafted font. This design approach seamlessly integrated the opulence and refinement of Art Deco elements, mirroring the intrinsic luxury and artisanal craftsmanship that define Dear Irving's character. Every detail was purposefully considered and meticulously harmonized, leaving nothing to chance.
In tandem with visual elements, we embarked on the creation of a menu that serves as a narrative, guiding patrons through an immersive experience of four distinct cocktail categories, while seamlessly incorporating fare offerings. This transformation of the menu into a story rather than a mere list of options elevates the overall guest experience, aligning perfectly with Dear Irving's commitment to providing a sophisticated and memorable encounter. The design, from color selections to font choices, was tailored to evoke a sense of timeless elegance, mirroring the ambiance within the bar itself.
